Has my parents divorce affected my childhood?

well my parents got divorced when i was a little younger around the age of 7 and when i was in primary school i was seriously smart i mean i was way ahead of the other kids, but as i got older i seemed to be getting dumber and now im bottom set in almost every subject do you think this has anything to do with my parents getting divorced and fighting around me and my brother all the time?
