Is my ipod touch broken?

So....I barely use my iPod in the day. I literally listen to like 7 songs. By the end of the day, it's "less than 20%" and I listened to SEVEN SONGS. I got it like a year ago from the Apple Store and they said it was "refurbished". But it's not possible for the battery to suck this bad! What's wrong with it?
