This guy always wants me to borrow his stuff. Being polite? or interested?

Like when I forgot my history book, he wanted me to borrow his. When I didn't have my jacket, he wanted me to wear his, when I got up to get water, he gave me his water bottle, and whenever he sees me walking home from school, he wants to drive me home. Are these some signs guys show to girls they like, or is he just being friendly?
