If i delete all my texts, can my parents still find a way to look at them by going online or to the phn store?

Well, my mom took my phone, but before she took it, I hurried up and deleted all of my text messages! Now, she thinks I'm hiding something and she said that she is going to go to the Verizon store tomorrow and she's going to find a way to see them. I realllyyyyy don't want her to see them at all!!!!! I'm not going into detail, but I do have some bad stuff on there! I guess the bottom line of my question is, "is my mom going to be able to recover the meaages?" thanks in advance
