Will Powerpoint 2010 animations work in 2007?

I have a project I am working on. It is a powerpoint presentation and I am doing it in the new Microsoft Office 2010 that I recently bought. In the 2010 edition, it allows you to apply cool 3D transitions like the ones in Apple's Keynote for Mac. What I want to know is whether or not other people using Powerpoint 2007 will be able to see the cool 3D effects that only come in the 2010 edition.
